
Complex Missions
EXAMPLE: You are scheduled to fly mission #5162, CHD – SOW - CHD. The FLG platelet pilot, who is based at DVT, has become ill, and the lab dispatcher has asked you to also fly his/her mission, #5123, DVT – FLG - DVT.
You accept this mission and the courier delivers to your home airport (CHD), boxes for SOW and FLG.
To ensure that mission #5123 is moved to your schedule, you would call the Mission Coordinator.
When you return home, you should have missions #5162 and 5123 in YOUR schedule missions area. You should report your missions as you flew them.
Mission #5162 looks like this: CHD – SOW and SOW – CHD

After you have delivered the blood product box(es) in SOW, you will have completed the mission. Therefore, you should change mission #5162 to appear as just one leg, CHD – SOW.
Tick the “Del” box (circled above), for leg number 2, SOW – CHD, and . . .
Click on the red “Delete” button (outlined by the blue rectangle above).
Now mission #5162 looks like the graphic below.

Enter the number of boxes that you delivered in the "Blood", "Coolant" and "Platelets" areas, plus your Hobbs time.
Click the green “Update Legs” button and complete the mission report for #5162.
