Aircraft Liability Insurance
Flights for Life, Inc., purchases liability insurance for the protection of volunteer officers, directors, and members when acting on behalf of Flights for Life. Members, when acting as pilot-in-command (PIC) on a FFL flight, are not covered by this policy. FFL pilots, when acting as PIC on FFL missions, are required to provide their own liability insurance. Flights for Life and your Medical Organization (M.O.), i.e., Vitalant or Our Blood Institute, (formerly Oklahoma Blood Institute), must be added to your Insurance Policy. This process is also known as an “Added Insured Endorsement.”
