Flying with someone who is not a FFL member
If non-member(s) are invited on an FFL mission, and they have not previously
completed and signed a Companion Waiver form, it is imperative that before the flight,
the pilot of the mission must have the non-member passenger(s) complete and sign a
Companion Waiver form. The waiver can be download and printed at https://www.epilotlogs.com/, “FFL Member Page,” and “THINGS YOU MIGHT NEED.”
The waiver(s) must be left in a secure place at the point of departure or electronically emailed to RecordsKeeper@flightsforlife.org, faxed or mailed to the Records Keeper. The
mailing and email addresses are included on the Waiver. Pilots should not take these
forms with them on the mission flight. NOTE: A smartphone can take a photo of the
Waiver and then email the form. If not transmitted prior to the flight, the form(s) must be
sent to the Records Keeper the day after the flight. Once the waiver is on file, for subsequent flights with that passenger, the form need not be re-accomplished.
