Reimbursement for participating in the Wings Pilot Proficiency Program
To obtain the $250 FAA Wings reimbursement, you must have received credit for 6 missions in the previous calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
In addition, you must have:
-
A current pilot profile
-
Either a current medical or a current BasicMed qualification
-
A current Flight Review
Prove it
You'll need to document that you earned a phase of Wings by submitting to the FFL MISSION SAFETY OFFICER missionsafetyofficer@flightsforlife.org, a photocopy or PDF of the Wings certificate, signed by the FAA Safety Team National Manger.

The Mission Safety Officer will then forward the Wings Certificate to the Treasurer for reimbursement and the Records Keeper for documentation.
The Fine Print
You can request one Wings reimbursement per calendar year and the signed wings certificate must be submitted within six calendar months of phase completion
